Broadway Bound Dance Academy - Dance Academy in Loveland Colorado

Broadway Bound Dance Academy’s EDGE is a pre-professional performance dance team dedicated to increasing dance awareness and appreciation in Northern Colorado. To help reach audiences, EDGE performs dances heavily influenced by West Coast styles of jazz and hip-hop. EDGE dancers rehearse weekly and perform at a variety of venues including nightclubs, community events, concerts, theaters, and studio performances.

AUDITIONS: Auditions will be held at Broadway Bound, 645 North Denver Avenue in Loveland, on Sunday, September 7th from 1-3 pm. Results will be announced that evening.

Applicants must be 18 by September 7th, 2008 and be a high school graduate.

Dancers will need to have a completed application (available on our website) and a headshot. In addition, female dancers will need to wear a mid-drift top, dance pants or shorts, and appropriate dance shoes. Makeup and hair should be performance quality. No ponytails please.

COMMITMENT: Dancers are required to attend a technique class/rehearsal once per week. Dancers will be allowed to miss up to three rehearsals per semester.

COST: There is a small costume rental/cleaning fee of $50 per dancer. In addition, EDGE dancers will need to purchase their own jazz pants, hip hop pants, and shoes.
